A simple principle, players have to jump into their sacks. As much as they would like to run, their strides are limited by the constraints of the sack. It now becomes a method of shorter strides but quicker. As contestants in the race progress along the course, suddenly those lagging behind begin to panic, and start trying to take too many steps too soon. Next thing you know they have taken that next step too quickly and they are on the floor as the other contestants disappear into the distance. Great fun and entertainment for all.
